We gathered at my house Friday to sing and drink tea and laugh and cry. Some of the songs we sang were:
Right Place, Right Time by Samara Jade.
This is the same woman who write the What I never was broken song. I only remembered part of the song correctly. Here an acapella recording I made with Whitney and Ilana during deep covid quarantine, and here is a video of Samara Jade and Acorn Kin playing it with instrumental accompaniment. So good!
Lyrics:
1. I believe that I’m in the right place at the right time
This wave is crashing down and it’s the one for me to ride
2. Crazy world, crazy times
Gonna let go of what oughtta be
And hang on for the ride
3. Ebb and Flow
Rising Falling
